I started this company for one reason; I love what I do. Website design and development is not just a job; it is a passion. I love working with people to find out what problems they are facing with their technology and then finding a solution that makes them feel the same love of technology.
Why Lightning Workgroup? Well, "Lightning" is fast, its precise, and it leaves an everlasting impact. I choose "Workgroup" instead of "Solutions" because I am not here to tell you what to do. I am here to work with you as part of your team. If you are looking for someone to give you what you ask for or tell you what to do without considering what your business represents, that is not me. Why not? Everyone is unique, and so is every business. To say I am a solution provider would mean I had decided what to do before I walked in the door and my opinion, that will never make your website successful. Instead, my mission is to uncover the pain points and to use that knowledge to problem solve.
I realized I was driven to this field because of my desire to problem solve and understand how things work. I take my time to ask you questions, questions that may be entirely unrelated to the current project, only because the better I understand what you do and how you do it, the more I will be able to future proof your website or web application. If I only do task "A" and "B" with no consideration for "C, D, E..." I can wind up working with you towards a solution that is only good for a year before you outgrow it. I have seen this mistake happen too many times before to want to be a part of that. It is why when you call in the middle of the day with an idea about how you can change your application or what kind of background colors you want, I will answer, and I will listen. I want to walk through those ideas with you, even if scope or budget don't allow them now, I will know better what we are all working to build.
I have been working for companies for the past ten years building websites, web applications, mobile applications, desktop applications, you name it I have programmed some version of it. Programming is what gives me the toolset to solve your problem and to make it work. My motivation to understand is what helps me create the right product that will last you for years to come.
